Director Brendan Jamison describes how "Dillon was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 7 and his unique insight into the daily management of sugar and insulin proved extremely valuable to the education wing of our 'Know Your Sugar Tour'. His creative approaches to documenting the project helped achieve a magic and optimism for others managing diabetes. His youthful energy and intelligence made him a key component of our team. Dillon successfully made a real impact on raising awareness about diabetes, both in America and further afield through international media coverage which spanned over 10 million people."
